What is minimalism movement? Reading times: 4 minutes
It is a movement concern with simplifying our lifes. Back in the days people had only what they really needed and what was easy to carry with them. Nowadays there is no way for people to carry what they have, they would probaly need fee cars to do it. Are all of that things really necessary? I doubt it. You don't really use them all. Some are stored because:
you liked them,
some are sentimental,
some you forgot long time ago,
about few you always say you're gonna use them someday,
some you got from somebody important although they are usless they are still here,
were too expensive to throw away (you can always sell them).
There are people who like storing things and there are people who doesn't. So if you like it, enjoy it and don't see it as a problem then probably that article is not for you. But if you want to get rid of the chaos around in order to make some space for success, family, passion you're in the right place. Of course some people can transform their attitude towards things and consumerism, like I did but I did it only because I found a reason. Then I didn't know how it's called, I did it intuitively by just starting throwing away to make space for my new passion. And the process is already almost 2 years, still in progress. Because I couldn't just throw everything at once. You have to grow up to some decisions.
What minimalism is gonna give you?
Sight of relief,
Freedom in life,
More space in your home,
Time to spend with your family,
You're gonna be more relaxed,
Any cleaning with less stuff is less problem,
Spring-cleaning is going to be shorter then ever,
Freedom to easily move to another city or country,
Some energy is going to be save, so you can focus on your passions,
You're gonna save money, instead of buying 10th pair of shoes you can save o buy sth more important.

Don't let adverts dictate you who you are and what you should but...
Don't let that happen. The biggest aim in advertiement business is to make profit and gain regular customer! So they're gonna tell you anything just to have profits! They are even creating some of your needs and then you're saving money to buy it or just buy with credit card. But do we really need 150$ shoes? 40$ T-Shirts? 80$ book? Is it gonna make us heappier or more satisfied from life? Maybe it's gonna be enjoying to buy but not for a long term, then we usually want more... You don't need expensive things or more of them feel fullfilment. You can achive that in different way.
Overcame your uncertainty, start liking it and living!
At first it might be strange to have less things but you're gonna use to it and appreciate advantages. When I threw away some things I had doubts because my room looked like nobody is living there and it was scary. But that feeling went away when I was in better mood and it change to being proud about it, although when my friends visit they always ask "How can you live with so little things?" "Were are your things?". So I show them answer is: "That's all???".
Lately my parents had visitors and while seeing my room the were asking "Why didn't you buy furnitures for this room yet?" :D Although I have one bookcase to the ceiling! But one is enough after getting rid of the rest and putting some into my brother's room (he doesn't live there anyway).
Would you pay someone to move all of that across the country?
